"Entropy and multifractals"

I will recall the general thermodynamic formalism of statistical physics relating it to contact geometry and classical mechanics. Then I turn to its dynamical system reincarnation and dwell upon multifractal spectra of observables on Markov chains. This will continue Martin Rypdal's talk, but I will put more emphasis on the entropy, which I will also relate to the approach of Per Jakobsen and Valentin Lychagin.
