Travel information:

The standard manner of arriving to Tromsø is by plane, two major companies are: SAS and Norwegian. Airport details can be found here. There is a link to the bus connection to the city. 

We advice to plan your trip in good time. Almost all flights to Tromsø have a stop in Oslo, remember to collect the baggage to go through the customs. For most of them it will be the main Oslo airport Gardermoen (OSL), but some companies arrive to the small Oslo airport Torp/Sandefjord (TRF). In the latter case secure enough time for interchange as you'll need to take an express-bus.

Hotels:

There are several choices for lodging. Below we indicate some hotels with prices in Norwegian krones. You have to mention you're Participant of the Conference when booking online or by phone.

• Clarion Hotel Bryggen: 1150,-

• Rica Grand Hotel Tromsø: 1040,-

If booking is made before the Registration dedaline, you are eligible to get the above mentioned prices as a Guest to the University of Tromsø. We strongly advice booking a hotel in advance, as ultimately you can run out of choices. 

Other hotels are available, most of them are located in the downtown. Please keep in mind that the conference venue will be the University Campus, which is 10 min by bus or 40-50 min walk from the downtown.
