"Non-integrability of the n-body problem"

We prove the following theorem: The equations of motion of the classical n-body problem (n>2) with arbitrary positive masses, restricted to a common level set of the energy H and the angular momentum C, are non-integrable for every (H,C) different from (0,0). The proof uses methods of differential Galois theory.
