Per Jacobsen "Categorical theory of relations and quantizations".

The notion of a relation will be categorized and the properties of relations will be given a categorical interpretation. The category of relations will be defined and shown to be a symmetric monoidal category in a modified sense. Quantization will be defined as a property of functors and applied to the category of relations.
