Martin Rypdal "Calculation of Entropy via Multiplicity"

In some physical models discontinuities is a necessary feature. For instance this is so in Zhang and other sand-pile models describing avalanches. Many results from ergodic theory and dynamical systems fail in the presence of singularities. It will be explained how to overcome certain difficulties related with evaluation of entropies.
