"Generalization of Tanaka theory".

Tanaka theory describes and bounds the number of symmetries of vector distributions in terms of algebraic prolongations of fundamental graded nilpotent Lie algebras. However it is restricted by the assumption of strong regularity, which for most generic data does not hold. In my recent work I have removed this assumption and I will briefly report on this.
