Dear Colleagues,
as the workshop in Tromso comes closer we would like to provide you certain details.

1. The talks are not distributed yet, since not all the participants have submitted the details, but we hope to resolve this soon.

2. Details about arrival and departure will be clear at the edge of the month, but presently it looks as it will be one bus to Sommaroya on August 12 at around 18:30 (with two stops: at the downtown to pick up people, who have arrived earlier, and then at the airport to pick up their luggage from the locks and the rest of people) and two buses back on August 17 at different times (very early and later on for convenience).

3. We study now possibilities for an excursion. Basically there seems to be two opportunities and you should choose (if there's not enough people for one of them it won't run):
A. Fishing trip on a boat. Fishing equipment and basic advice will be provided, but catching fish with accompanying details will be your responsibility. On the other hand you'll be free of preparing and cooking it. You should fit out properly (say the cloth won't suit afterwards for the dinner the same night).
B. Tourist trip on a boat to the island Haya (the one you see on the picture). Panorama towards Arctic Ocean from the top of the island is fantastic, but one should travel long to it. Those who can't ascend the trail may have additional relaxation on the boat instead.

The two events will happen simultaneously and the conference dinner will follow the same night (presumably on Wednesday). 
We would like to get a feedback which of the choices A or B you prefer. Soonest is better. No choice means it is not essential.
